We co-found a new COST Action on Control Theory and Machine Learning
We are proud to announce that our department is a co-founder of the recently launched COST Action CA24136: Interactions between Control Theory and Machine Learning (InterCoML). Securing this grant was a significant milestone, as the proposal was among the elite 8.3% of applications selected for funding.
InterCoML aims to advance research at the intersection of control theory and machine learning by fostering structured collaboration between academic institutions and industrial partners across Europe. The initiative will support the development of new theoretical foundations, methodologies, and applications in these rapidly evolving fields.
We are further pleased to share that Tatiana V. Guy will serve as a co-leader of Working Group 1 – Control Theory for Machine Learning. This group will focus specifically on strengthening the control-theoretical foundations of machine learning methods.
A substantial portion of the research will be conducted within the TALISMAN joint laboratory, established in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Management, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.
