In 2024, the President of the Czech Academy of Sciences presented the Award of the CAS for outstanding results of great scientific significance were received by Ing. Miroslav Kárný, DrSc., nominated by the Institute of Information Theory and Automation of the CAS, for the scientific outcome General prescriptive theory of dynamic decision making under uncertainty and incomplete knowledge.
